Just 3 km from the heart of Bar, nestled at the foot of Little Kurilo, lies the Novaković family’s olive grove, home to over 100 olive trees. With a tradition that spans nearly two centuries, the grove continues to thrive today. Alongside the Novaković family’s grove, the area is filled with olive trees belonging to the Novaković brotherhood, making this region a well-known olive plantation on the world map. The area is predominantly cultivated with the autochthonous variety “Barska žutica,” known as the “Olive Queen” in the Mediterranean. This unique variety is at the heart of our family business, where visitors can enjoy an authentic olive harvesting and tasting experience, surrounded by ancient olive trees that have stood for thousands of years.
